Speaking with proffesors

 This week I presented the preliminary results of my research for the members of the polder board in Semarang and received some feedback. I made the presentation in prezi as the Indonesian people like flashy presentations. Also with a background in business administration I wanted to show the professors something new.

Before the presentation I had a meeting with a party that left the process and that was very clarifying. Talking with people that criticize the project is sometimes also refreshing I must state. In the middle of the week there was independence day and the office was closed. I used the day to drive through Semarang and enjoy the city while I tried to make an appointment with parties I have not spoken with yet. This seemed to be more problematic than thought. However via the connections I got during my work and dinner invitation I arranged some meeting for the coming week.

Furthermore I provided some lectures of the University with English lessons, by having a discussion in English about the Dutch educational system and my work. I must say that during my stay here my level of spoken English is dropping but my bahasa Indonesia is rising.
