Currently, I am still trying to get the model to simulate the historic coastline development correctly.

As I have mentioned in some of my previous posts, the data concerning the historic morphological development at Lagos are not abundant. The model I am creating has therefore to be calibrated on very few data, which are, unfortunately, not really in conformity with eachother. Choices have to be made on which data to use and rely the model on.
 

Therefore, the set-up of the model takes a lot of time. I hope to finish the model calibration these days, so I can make a start with testing my hypotheses considering the future morphological development of the Lagos coast.
