Investigate which expected vessels are able to enter the port safely at the Channel of Itajai, Brazil.

Channel of Itajai in Brazil have its limitations to allow for vessels larger than 300 m. Nevertheless, it might be possible to enter the port with these long vessels during very mild meteorological and hydrodynamic conditions.

This week study will determine whether it is possible to manoeuvre in Itajai – channel with relative long vessels and if so, what the limiting meteorological and hydrodynamic conditions are.

My part of this study will be to make a mathematical model of the expected vessels for real-time simulation, taking into consideration also the wind surface and tug-boats efficiencies.
