- Objective
Contribute to reducing traffic congestion in Greater Jakarta and more efficient freight transport connection between the port Tanjung Priok in Jakarta and the hinterland.
Project information
Traffic congestion is considered to be the major constraint for the further development of Jakarta Metropolitan Area and of the Port Tanjung Priok as access roads lead through the city. There are different projects and initiatives ongoing with Dutch involvement, focusing on improvement of urban passenger and freight transport in Greater Jakarta. NEA is involved in these initiatives and projects since 2009.
Description of project
The project aims at proposing feasible solutions for the port-hinterland connections in Greater Jakarta taking into account existing constraints related with water management, spatial planning and transport infrastructure and traffic operations in the city of Jakarta.view more
